Lion's Club mega campaign on e-waste campaign
Report: Debolina Dutta
Lions Club is a mega campaign for e-waste management of the district at the international level. Open the drawer and you'll see the extra cords, wires, old phones that were once smart, flash drives, and what you have. And the pandemic has forced touch screens as our primary way to touch and connect with others around the world. We don't abandon our old gadgets because who knows we might need them someday. And then we don't throw them away because we can't put it in the trashcan. So we have drawers and cabinets unused electronics.
Lions of India is launching a month-long e-waste awareness and collection drive.
This e-waste will also address Gen Z and millennial concerns about the climate
